Mass production is expected to start sometime around next spring.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Using the p-Si display could bring some great advantages to the iPhone 6, Apple would be able to make screens with higher resolution than the current Retina Display. Moreover, as the display drivers are build directly onto the glass on top, it will eliminate the TFT section and produce a thinner and lighter LCD display.
