The <strong>Roborock S6 Pure<\/strong> is the newest product that was introduced at CES 2020 and it comes at a more affordable price point as compared to its predecessor, the Roborock S6.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Unboxing &amp; Testing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Roborock S6 Pure Robot Vacuum and Mop Unboxing &amp; Testing\" width=\"1000\" height=\"563\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/iGw-_lRCw5k?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Design &amp; Features<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>As compared to the S6, the S6 Pure has just some minor changes but the whole layout is pretty much the same. There are now just 2 buttons on top, which are the Power and Home buttons. The bin is quite spacious and you don&#8217;t need to empty it after a couple of days. There is a HEPA filter to trap fine dirt and it should be replaced after a few months. I love that the mopping pad can be easily inserted or removed without lifting the robot. However, you won&#8217;t be able to adjust the water level in the Mi Home app. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.techwalls.com\/xiaomi-roborock-s5-max-robot-vacuum-mop-review\/\">Roborock S5 Max<\/a> has more options regarding mopping; It can detect when I insert the mopping pad and change the cleaning mode accordingly. The water tank of the S6 Pure is built into the mopping pad and there is no water pump, so you can&#8217;t control the water level. I just can adjust the water level manually with a switch hidden between the mop and the tank. The mop will get wet gradually and it works fine most of the time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, the biggest limitation is that I can&#8217;t create no-mop zones in the Mi Home app; That means I have to create no-go zones for carpet areas every time I need to mop my house.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.techwalls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/roborock-s6-pure-4.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1290\" height=\"860\" src=\"https:\/\/www.techwalls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/roborock-s6-pure-4.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-15326\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.techwalls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/roborock-s6-pure-4.jpeg 1290w, https:\/\/www.techwalls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/roborock-s6-pure-4-300x200.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/www.techwalls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/roborock-s6-pure-4-1024x683.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/www.techwalls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/roborock-s6-pure-4-768x512.jpeg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1290px) 100vw, 1290px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Performance<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>I have no complaint when using the S6 Pure to vacuum and mop my house. It does a great job by removing dirt and hair from my floor. Its suction power is 2,000 pa which is the same as other high-end Roborock robots. When running on my low-pile carpet, the robot also changes to the Max power mode automatically to suck up more dirt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.techwalls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/roborock-s6-pure-5.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1290\" height=\"877\" src=\"https:\/\/www.techwalls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/roborock-s6-pure-5.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-15327\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.techwalls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/roborock-s6-pure-5.jpeg 1290w, https:\/\/www.techwalls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/roborock-s6-pure-5-300x204.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/www.techwalls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/roborock-s6-pure-5-1024x696.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/www.techwalls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/roborock-s6-pure-5-768x522.jpeg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1290px) 100vw, 1290px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The S6 Pure has pretty much the same specifications as the S6, so if you&#8217;re considering between the two, just pick whichever is cheaper to save some money. They use the same 5,200mAh battery with the total runtime of about 3 hours; It is enough to clean my whole house and in case the battery is running out, the robot will return to the charging dock and continue the cleaning session when it has enough power.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The best feature of the robot is the high-precision laser range finder (LiDAR) which can create an accurate layout of my house. After cleaning for the first time, the map is saved and I can choose a specific zone or room to clean next time. Besides, I can also create invisible walls or borders to separate rooms. The robot always knows how to plan an efficient route to clean the whole floor in a shortest period of time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Conclusion<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pros<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>High performance<\/li><li>Price is lower than S6<\/li><li>Long battery runtime<\/li><li>Digital no-go zones, invisible walls<\/li><li>Alexa support<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cons<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>No improvement over other Roborock vacuums<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The Roborock S6 Pure gives us another choice on the market.
