To secure a comfortable spot, it’s advisable to arrive early in the evening. The landside or pre-security area has limited comfortable seating, so the airside area, accessible after passing security, is a better choice. Here, numerous seats and benches without armrests are available, along with some nooks and crannies for added privacy.

Here are some specific spots for a good rest:

Resting Lounges

You can find complimentary resting lounges throughout the airport. For instance, this is located at Gate 33 in Terminal 1, behind the bathrooms and water station. There are 4 permanently reclined lounge chairs here. The chairs face the tarmac, so it would be very bright in early morning. If you want to have a good sleep overnight, make sure to bring eyeshades and earplugs.

Although the recliner is unadjustable and doesn’t have any padding, I still find it comfortable enough for 2-4 hours of sleep. My only issue is that the recliner is a big short and it always leaves my feet dangling on the front. There is a side table with an power outlet and USB-C port but they were broken at the time I tried them.

Recharge Zones

This is my favorite area during longer transits because the area has a more modern design and the recliners are much more comfortable. The seat is adequately padded and there is a footstool for you to place your legs. There are a few recharge zones in the terminal, near gates 1, 6, 26, 45 and 66. Each of these zones has just 5 recliners and they are often occupied quickly at night.

Bean Bags

In the Midfield Concourse in Terminal 1, relaxing bean bags are available for travelers looking for a spot to lie down.
