We all have amazing ideas in our brains, waiting to see the light of day. Thanks to the kindness of the fellow individual, services and sites like Kickstarter have sprouted up, providing inventors and entrepreneurs alike with the financial backing from individuals like them. This doesn’t occur without appropriate recognition where it’s due. Today, let’s take a look at five Kickstarter projects that deserve the spotlight.<\/p>\n

Arqball Spin: 3D For Everyone<\/a><\/h2>\n

We all know about the advances that photography has had in our history. Even within the last 10 years photography has made great strides. 3D is a hit now in videography, with almost every movie these days having a 3D version or sequel. Two University of Virginia professors have caught on to this trend, now making it available for the average consumer in photography, not just videography. This is done with Arqball Spin. The professors have already developed an app that you will use to take and compress the photos. A spin board is also created as a way for you to evenly take multiple photos of the said subject. Once you have the photo ready, you can share it on multiple social networking websites. The professors need us to give to their project so they can build the stage production. Their goal is $40,000 by Friday the 18th<\/sup> of May, 2012. So far, they have 413 backers and $31,483.<\/p>\n

Bitponics – Your Personal Gardening Assistant<\/a><\/h2>\n

With the current environmental and economical time that we are in, gardening is a hidden secret to saving money. Gardening allows you to reduce your carbon footprint and allows you to save money by growing your own food. However, this can be difficult for the novice gardener to do. Many of us can\u2019t even take care of a pet fish, let alone a living plant.<\/p>\n

Amir and Michael are apart of Bitponics, a project wishing to make gardening accessible for anyone. This is done through a device and software by simply choosing the crops you want to grow, from there the software gives you an outlook on how the planting process will go, making growing seamless. How does the device help? The Bitponics device will allow you to grow the crops you want to grow just about anywhere, from your apartment building to the deserts of Arizona. Even if you live on a farm, Bitponics is useful in that it allows crops to grow in any season.<\/p>\n

However, this is either still not a possibility or just seen as too extreme for most individuals. Instead, most parents simply ask their child where they are to make sure they are in the right place. However, repeated inquiring can make a teen aggravated or even lie about their true location. Even outside of this scenario, maybe you have an elderly relative or younger child you want to ensure doesn\u2019t leave the home. All of these scenarios can be solved by t\u014dd, a device that allows you to connect any mobile phone or gadget with Bluetooth capability, allowing you to track where it is, whether it\u2019s in a predestinated range, etc. With the t\u014dd application, this device works like a charm in making sure everywhere is where they should be. Think of a world where everything becomes a remote controller, from your child\u2019s play-dough to fruit. Seems certainly impossible, doesn\u2019t it? Well, not with MaKey MaKey. MaKey MaKey, think of it like \u201cMake a Key\u201d, does this by having a pad and alligator clips. Just clip the object you want to replace the key, and clip it on the pad the command you want it to initiate, and MaKey MaKey makes it happen. All you need is a USB port on your computer to make it happen. It\u2019s seamless and easy. If you contribute $35 or more, you\u2019ll get your own! Currently, MaKey MaKey has $69885, with a goal of $25000. Their goal is met, but if you want to be apart of something awesome, it doesn\u2019t hurt in giving. BRING IT TO THE TABLE<\/a><\/h2>\n

Politics can be a touchy topic for many individuals. Many are unlikely to want to share their personal views with other individuals they don\u2019t know. Let alone, they wouldn\u2019t want to share it on a public forum. However, Bring It To The Table takes the stigma out of not just politics, but other issues that are important to society today. Bring It To The Table is expected to make this discussion nationwide, however they need help from us to make this a possibility. With $7662, they are not close to their $30000 goal just yet.
