Sometimes you will need the ISO files to re-install Windows when your computer doesn&#8217;t work properly.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>In my case, I made the <a title=\"How to Upgrade to Windows 8\" href=\"https:\/\/www.techwalls.com\/how-to-upgrade-to-windows-8\/\" target=\"_blank\">upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 8 Pro 64-bit<\/a> and all I have is the upgrade product key only. This post will show you how to download the ISO file of Windows 8 Pro 32-bit or 64-bit with just the upgrade key. Here are the steps:<\/p>\n<p>1. Make sure you are running on the Windows version corresponding with the version of your desired Windows ISO file. For example, if you need to download the Windows 8 64-bit, you will need to run on a 64-bit machine. The step is very important because you don&#8217;t have the option to choose between 32-bit and 64-bit version. Microsoft detects the version based on the machine on which you run their setup tool.<\/p>\n<p>2. Download and install <a href=\"http:\/\/go.microsoft.com\/fwlink\/p\/?LinkId=271128\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Windows 8 Setup program<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>3. Run the program<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3673\" alt=\"windows-8-product-key\" src=\"https:\/\/www.techwalls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/windows-8-product-key.jpg\" width=\"640\" height=\"333\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.techwalls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/windows-8-product-key.jpg 640w, https:\/\/www.techwalls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/windows-8-product-key-300x156.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>4. Fill in the product key you received via email, then click on Next.<\/p>\n<p>5. The program will detect your Windows 8 version, click on Next to start downloading.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3675\" alt=\"windows-8-pro\" src=\"https:\/\/www.techwalls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/windows-8-pro.png\" width=\"792\" height=\"364\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.techwalls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/windows-8-pro.png 792w, https:\/\/www.techwalls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/windows-8-pro-300x138.png 300w, https:\/\/www.techwalls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/windows-8-pro-768x353.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 792px) 100vw, 792px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>6. After finished, you will see some options including <em>Install now<\/em>, <em>Install by creating media<\/em> and <em>Install later from your desktop<\/em>. Choose <em>Install by creating media<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>7. On the next screen, choose ISO file to start creating your Windows 8 ISO file. Click on <strong>Save<\/strong> to save it to your computer.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3676\" alt=\"create-windows-8-iso-file\" src=\"https:\/\/www.techwalls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/create-windows-8-iso-file.png\" width=\"642\" height=\"240\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.techwalls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/create-windows-8-iso-file.png 642w, https:\/\/www.techwalls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/create-windows-8-iso-file-300x112.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 642px) 100vw, 642px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>8.
