What so special in rooting it. Well, it is a Nexus device and main purpose of the Nexus series is that it is meant for developers and that\u2019s why is the device\u2019s price so less, these things aside you no longer need to wait anymore as Nexus 5 has been rooted successfully. For that you need to follow the guide below.<\/p>\n<h2>STEP #1<\/h2>\n<p>Well, first of all you need to unlock the boot loader of your device. You can follow those steps from here. But remember unlocking the boot loader will erase all the data so make sure to create a backup before. Take your phone into Fastboot mode and then attach it into our PC. In command Prompt give command <b><i>\u201cFastBoot Devices\u201d. <\/i><\/b>If your phone gets recognised then type command<b><i> \u201cfastboot oem unlock\u201d <\/i><\/b>then a window will pop up click yes to that. After this give command<b><i> \u201cfastboot reboot\u201d <\/i><\/b>this will reboot your phone. Thus you have successfully unlocked the boot loader of your device.<\/p>\n<h2>STEP #2<\/h2>\n<p>After unlocking the boot loader now you need to download the <a href=\"http:\/\/download.chainfire.eu\/351\/SuperSU\/UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.65.zip\" target=\"_blank\">SuperSu File <\/a>\u00a0and<a href=\"http:\/\/techerrata.com\/browse\/twrp2\/hammerhead\" target=\"_blank\"> TWRP recovery <\/a>\u00a0now after downloading the both copy that SuperSU file into storage of your Nexus 5 and TWRP file to a folder where ADB is present. Rename the TWRP to Nexus5.img<\/p>\n<h2>STEP #3<\/h2>\n<p>Now take your Nexus 5 into recovery mode with the help of VOLUME DOWN and POWER BUTTON combination. After this connect your phone to system then enter the command <b><i>\u201cfastboot devices\u201d <\/i><\/b>after that flash the recovery image which you named as Nexus5 with the help of the command<b><i> \u201cfastboot flash recovery Nexu5.img\u201d<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<h2>STEP #4<\/h2>\n<p>Now again reboot your Nexus 5 and enter the recovery mode then find the \u201crecovery option\u201d and choose it.
