I&#8217;ve tried some of the tiny speakers such as the <a title=\"JBL Clip Wireless Speaker Review \u2013 Good thing comes in small package\" href=\"https:\/\/www.techwalls.com\/jbl-clip-portable-wireless-speaker-review\/\">JBL Clip<\/a>,\u00a0<a title=\"Bassboomz Portable Bluetooth Speaker Review\" href=\"https:\/\/www.techwalls.com\/bassboomz-portable-bluetooth-speaker-review\/\">Bassboomz<\/a> or\u00a0<a title=\"Gadgets for Girls \u2013 Jellyfish Music Cube, Mirror Compact Speaker and Go-Go Juice Review\" href=\"https:\/\/www.techwalls.com\/gadgets-girls-jellyfish-music-cube-mirror-compact-speaker-go-go-juice-review\/\">Jellyfish Music Cube<\/a>, some are good and some are horrible.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Therefore, you should research carefully before buying. Today, we are taking a look at another small-sized Bluetooth speaker, the Inateck BP1001.<\/p>\n<h2>Unboxing and Sound Testing<\/h2>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/iTXTruVEp10\" width=\"680\" height=\"383\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h2>Design and Features<\/h2>\n<p>Inside the box, there are just the speaker, a USB cable and a 3.5mm audio cable. I&#8217;m not really impressed with design of the speaker. I got the White version and it looks quite cheap. The shiny top looks good but the whole unit is made of plastic with a silver coating.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-7548\" src=\"https:\/\/www.techwalls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/inateck-bp1001-2.jpg\" alt=\"inateck-bp1001-2\" width=\"1000\" height=\"636\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.techwalls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/inateck-bp1001-2.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/www.techwalls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/inateck-bp1001-2-300x191.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.techwalls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/inateck-bp1001-2-768x488.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>On the back, we can spot the line-in jack, mini-USB port and multi function button to Play\/Pause and control volume. There is nothing special about this design and it is not something you can boast about.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-7549\" src=\"https:\/\/www.techwalls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/inateck-bp1001-3.jpg\" alt=\"inateck-bp1001-3\" width=\"1000\" height=\"633\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.techwalls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/inateck-bp1001-3.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/www.techwalls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/inateck-bp1001-3-300x190.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.techwalls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/inateck-bp1001-3-768x486.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>As you can see in the video above, I failed to connect to the Inateck speaker in the first attempt. Besides, I start losing signals at around 20 feet, this is a little low compared to 30 feet of most other speakers.<\/p>\n<p>I tested the speaker&#8217;s 500 mAh battery and it could last for nearly 4 hours with the volume level of around 80%.<\/p>\n<h2>Audio Quality<\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-7547\" src=\"https:\/\/www.techwalls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/inateck-bp1001-1.jpg\" alt=\"inateck-bp1001-1\" width=\"1000\" height=\"647\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.techwalls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/inateck-bp1001-1.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/www.techwalls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/inateck-bp1001-1-300x194.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.techwalls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/inateck-bp1001-1-768x497.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In terms of audio\u00a0quality, I didn&#8217;t expect much from this speaker because\u00a0a speaker at this size never can produce a mind-blowing sound. The\u00a0Inateck BP1001 provides a quite flat sound that emphasizes on mid-range sounds and there is almost no bass coming out.\u00a0The good thing is that it doesn&#8217;t have significant distortion as compared to other mini speakers.<\/p>\n<p>Overall, the sound is very clear and absolutely better than the integrated speakers on your iPad, iPhone or Android smartphones. Unfortunately, it is a speaker to help you enjoy music.<\/p>\n<h2>Conclusion<\/h2>\n<h3>Pros<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Clear sound.<\/li>\n<li>Less distortion.<\/li>\n<li>Very low price.<\/li>\n<li>Portable design.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Cons<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>The speaker looks cheap.<\/li>\n<li>Bass response is very weak.<\/li>\n<li>Sound is flat and lacking details.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The\u00a0Inateck BP1001 is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B00JOX1UPS\/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=390957&amp;creativeASIN=B00JOX1UPS&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;tag=twall-20&amp;linkId=5SWOFHYLB4PMURBM\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">available on Amazon in Black and White for $16<\/a>.
